Rowlands Castle Painting Society met for the last Tuesday outdoor painting this year just prior to the latest lockdown. Members have been extremely lucky that the weather has allowed them to go along to some attractive local locations recently. One such visit was to Stansted Park where a few socially distant members painted the Grade 1 Chapel of St Paul. This chapel has a very unusual East window which shows Christian and Jewish iconography and Hebrew Tablets of the Ten commandments. There is a very attractive intimate walled garden nearby and this painting by Barbara Wood is a view of the outside of the walled garden.
This December Rowlands Castle Painting Society are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Virtual Art Exhibition and Sale on our web site http://www.rowlandscastlepaintingsociety.co.uk. Please follow the links. This will be in place of our weekend exhibition was was planned for November 2020. We hope that you can take a look to see the variety of subjects that our members enjoy painting.
