The Governing Board of Bosham Primary are dedicated volunteers who work with the school to provide strategic leadership.
The Board is looking to appoint a Clerk to keep them informed of constitutional issues and provide administrative support and minute taking for meetings.

This role offers a flexible working pattern. Whilst meetings will be at specific times, the remainder of the work can be completed at the time of your choice and offers the possibility of some working from home or in school. This can be discussed in more detail with the Chair of Governors throughout the year.
Governor meetings are held on 12 times per year (4 times per term) on Thursdays and usually early evening from 6.00 – 7.30.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills and be able to work independently and organise their own time whilst working to strict deadlines. Because of the nature of this role, discretion and confidentiality are vital.
We wish to appoint a highly organised, self-motivated and personable Clerk to join the Board. Whilst previous experience of working as a clerk would be desirable, a full package of training and support is available from the Local Authority Governor Support team. There are also professional qualifications that we would support the successful candidate to complete if they wished.
Your support of effective governance as clerk at Bosham Primary will contribute towards the best outcomes for the pupils at our school.
