The Village Magazine began in 2006 in Bosham with the aim of bringing people together and encourage residents
and visitors to the area to become more involved with the community and support local organisations and of course
local businesses. Since then the magazine has grown and now incorporates all the villages on the Hampshire – West
Sussex border between Emsworth and Chichester.
The Village Magazine is written, compiled and printed locally. We know the area, the people, and the news. We strive
to support our community, and if we had a motto it would be ‘Let’s keep it local’.

We have a very loyal and demanding readership, and the magazine is put together with them in mind.
The Village Magazine Ltd. is a full colour, A4 monthly publication, hand delivered door to door to over 7800
houses between Emsworth & Chichester. It is distributed to the residents of the villages including Bosham, Fishbourne,
Chidham, Hambrook, Nutbourne, Southbourne, Prinsted, Hermitage, Westbourne, Woodmancote, Funtington,
West Ashling and East Ashling.

In 2019 and 2020 the magazine won national awards, for both the magazine and the Editor categoris, recognising the high-quality design, content, editing and print quality.
