Village Magazine & The Emsworth Magazine

Written, compiled and printed locally. We know the area, the people, and the news. We now have a sister publication The Emsworth Magazine.

We strive to support our community, and if we had a motto it would be ‘Let’s keep it local’. We have a very loyal and demanding readership, and the magazine is put together with them in mind.

The magazines are full colour, A4 monthly publication delivered door to door to over 16,000 houses between Havant & Chichester. The Village Magazine is distributed to the residents of Bosham, Fishbourne, Chidham, Hambrook, Nutbourne, Southbourne, Prinsted, Hermitage, Westbourne, Woodmancote, Funtington, West & East Ashling.

The Emsworth Magazine is delivered to residents in Emsworth, Westbourne and Rowlands Castle.

Truly local magazines supporting the community and providing local business advertising opportunities alongside local information for new and existing residents and visitors to the area. Regular features include news from around the villages, classified adverts and general interest articles.

If you have a service our readers would benefit from, look no further than to promote yourself in this beautiful area on the West Sussex & Hampshire borders between the Chichester Harbour – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South Downs National Park.

Business of the month- Moonhopper Games

Moonhopper Games was set up in 2020 by Steven and Rachel Parham and Charlotte Smith as a side project to their own ventures.  Steven runs a successful engineering and research consultancy which has now been going strong for over twenty years; his wife Rachel is a local portrait artist and Charlotte (Rachel’s sister) is a talented jeweller and silversmith. Aided and abetted by Cheryl Dyer-Ballard who helps with modelling, product testing, promotion and social media output, Moonhopper has been going from strength to strength ever since.

Having made and mixed their own mediums for years for models and artistry, they started to manufacture small runs of tabletop materials for modelling terrain and basing model figures.  And the range grew quite quickly over a period of time.  These materials are ideal for model railway enthusiasts, scale model builders and wargamers, which was the primary focus of the company.

Not only that, Moonhopper has been manufacturing modelling tools which are 3D printed and sold, including a multi-purpose dungeon floor tile cutter, a jig for marking out foam tiles for the tabletop and more.  Their paints are used by both the hobbyists and the professional commission painters.  Moonhopper has become a well-known brand with wargaming societies and online, especially over the last two years.
